We developed the Career Building Initiative because we all know work is among the best predictors of constructive outcomes for individuals in recovery. To assist our mission, we recruit job training providers who tailor their programs for folks with substance use disorders. ATR supports these suppliers through ongoing professional development related to working with people in recovery. We select providers who prepare in occupations that are extra receptive to hiring individuals with justice involvement. Individuals such as campus faculty, workers, or administrators are simply obtainable for informational interviews.
