
Evaluates and understands present financial, regulatory, and legislative developments affecting economic growth initiatives, providers, and functions. Develops strong working relationships with key industry leaders, negotiating complicated agreements and conducting gross sales shows and prospect tours. Conducts complicated research and provides evaluation on matters of economic well being, real estate tendencies, gross sales taxes, and so on. Working closely with peer City departments and stakeholders, leads the development and implementation of the downtown revitalization strategic plan and initiatives. Participates in the development of long- and short-term departmental and city-wide targets and strategies with an emphasis on enhancing and expanding the City’s tax base by encouraging high quality development and improvement. Assists the Director by providing leadership on a department-wide and neighborhood basis to make sure division providers are provided in alignment with the City’s strategic goals.
